Special Installation at the WOW Museum: "Maze Special" July 2–August 10, 2025
Experience a section of Felix Hörhager's «Space Project» at the WOW Museum – for a limited time only. In the kaleidoscope of our "Maze" room, visitors can encounter fleeting images of outer space that are abstract, poetic, and immersive. As they walk through the labyrinth, they become part of the artwork and immerse themselves in the artist's multi-layered universe.
Right next to the installation, you can find a QR code – but it's not just any code: Is it a signpost? A work of art? Once you scan it, another view of the artist's universe opens up. The video is just as much a part of the work as the code itself – a digital portal in the middle of this analog space.

About Felix Hörhager – Space, Illusion, Universe

Felix Hörhager (*1968 in Munich) is a media artist, communication designer and photographer. He studied communication design at the Munich University of Applied Sciences and video art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. In addition to his artistic work, he has worked for many years as a videographer and graphic designer for Bayerischer Rundfunk. The central work of his artistic oeuvre is the long-term project spaceprojekt.com – a visual exploration of the cosmos, inspired by the four elements (earth, water, air, fire), the cardinal points, physical forces and the idea of space and time. Hörhager combines analog and digital imagery, NASA recordings, literary references to works such as The Neverending Story or The Universe in Your Hands, as well as contributions from astronauts and musicians. The focus is always on one question: How can we understand space through our senses - and become part of a greater whole?
